I always wondered if they were going to get in trouble for that, but I never heard about that. I've used to save videos of obscure 80's cartoons that I used to watch like The <a target="_blank" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg_jOr0Hjvg">Mighty Orbots</a> or <a target="_blank" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEl2c4kY_7g">Robotix</a>. You never know when those are going to disappear :) Firefox had a plug in that does this for sites like YouTube and MySpace.
